From I-25, exit at Alameda Blvd (NM 528), proceed west, crossing the Rio Grande until you reach Coors Boulevard--which is also Corrales Road north of Alameda. Turn right, and continue north through the Village of Corrales, watching for the San Ysidro Church. Turn east on Dixon Road, and continue to the Nora Dixon Place sign and lamppost at the end of our driveway. Parking is located at the east end of the house--the mountain view side.

Sandia Mountain, directly east (in Spanish, meaning watermelon), rises more than 5,000 feet above the valley floor to 10,400 feet. The setting sun creates a breath-taking beautiful rose glow on the ancient granite.
